Step away from the noise and into stillness. This indoor and outdoor retreat weaves together time for quiet reflection and meaningful connection — a balance of solitude and shared experience.

Through yoga, walking meditation, a sound bath, and journaling, we invite you to listen deeply to the world around you — and to the part of yourself that belongs wholly to it.

Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, and water bottle.

Location is at a private residence in the DeWitt, Iowa area, near water and walking paths. Specific location details will be shared upon registration. 

Cost: $44. Proceeds from the retreat will be donated to Iowa Natives.

Hosts

Lynn Schurr is a yoga instructor and sound healing practitioner who loves helping people slow down and connect with themselves. Movement, breath, and sound are meaningful parts of her life, and she enjoys sharing those practices with others. When she’s not teaching, you’ll often find her hiking, staying active, or exploring creative outlets like photography and art. She values connection with nature and her community and loves creating spaces where people feel welcome and inspired.

Staci Mercado is a Star Altar Reiki Master, teacher, and author whose work blends the Usui, Tibetan, and Bluehand lineages. Rooted in reverence for the natural world, she guides others to rediscover stillness, restore balance, and awaken creativity. As founder of Iowa Natives, she weaves spiritual practice with ecological care, helping others find their own still point between earth and imagination.
